Both the inspector and my realtor advised me to find another insurance company right away. They said that if Geico treats me this way as a new customer, how are they going to treat me if I have a claim and really need them someday.

My roof is only 8 years old and was inspected two months ago, when I bought the house. It's in good condition.. Geico did give me one month to repair it. The problem is, there's nothing to repair. Just because they saw a few tiles a little raised from pictures they took in my yard, they said my flashing was loose.

Geico is the worst insurance geico wants to charge ypu for even smiling and even if you call for a quote the make changes with out saying i acept the worst car insurance i had

Like the other reviewer, my home insurance was also suddenly cancelled (by a notice in the mail) by the Geico affiliate called StillwaterInsurance because they said (only from pictures they took) that my roof needed to be repaired.
We just signed up, and I read that Geico is an okay insurance agency (previously had State Farm and Erie, read that State Farm is now way worse and is more expensive. Erie is still good as insurance companies go, but they are much more expensive). Our insurance with Geico was 30% less than both State Farm and Erie, and over 50% less than Nationwide. It was definitely worth the switch.
A couple of raised tiles on a roof can be lots of things--including expansion in the hot summer.
